  Nikon AX Confocal Microscope:

  • Inverted laser scanning confocal microscope equipped with two multi-Alkali PMTs and two highly sensitive GaAsP hybrid detectors for improved signal-to-noise ratio.

  • Light sources: LUA-S6 Laser Unit equipped with 6 solid laser lines: 405 diode, 445 diode, 488 diode, 514 OPSL (Optically pumped semiconductor laser), 561 OPSL, 640 diode lasers for confocal imaging, and D-LEDI unit for fluorescence illumination.

  • Galvano/Galvano pair Scanner with a maximum scan resolution of 8192X8192 and FOV of 25mm.

  • Light sources: 405 diode, Argon multiline laser (458, 476, 488, 498, 514nm), 561 and 633 solid lasers and Leica EL6000 fluorescence illuminator.

  • Motorized x-y scanning stage, z-galvo stage, and resonant (high speed) scanner.

  • Suitable applications include live cell imaging studies, FRAP, FRET, time courses, colocalization and spectral unmixing.

  • Live cell imaging with temperature and CO2 control.

  • A workstation with a copy of the LAS X image analysis software is available for image analysis and processing.

   Zeiss LSM 710 Confocal Microscope:
